I find what's most fun to do at this moment in time is to be a builder.
I think it's amazing that today, frankly, they're probably high school kids that could do things that the best researchers in the world would have really struggled to do two years ago.
I think the good news to most people watching this is the fact that foundation models are so expensive to train, is not your problem because others have spent billions of dollars training these models.
I have always wanted to visit Thailand. So when KBTG and K Bank warmly invited me to visit, I was very happy to stay here for a few days and meet with many business and government leaders to see what we can do in AI.
NG Andrew (吴恩达) is a globally recognized leader in AI and machine learning. He is the Founder of DeepLearning.AI, Managing General Partner at AI Fund, Executive Chairman of LandingAI, and Chairman and Co-Founder of Coursera.
He is also an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University. Ng previously served as Chief Scientist at Baidu and as the founding lead of the Google Brain team.
He has authored or co-authored over 200 research papers in machine learning, robotics, and related fields. He holds a B.Sc. from Carnegie Mellon University, an M.Sc. from MIT, and a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.
Named to Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in 2012 and the Time100 AI list in 2023, Ng has taught over 8 million students through his online AI courses.
