XIA Bingquan (夏炳权)

XIA Bingquan (夏炳权) is a tech lead at Xiaomi's MiMo LLM-Core team. He is listed as the first author (core contributor) of the MiMo technical report, which introduced MiMo-7B, a large language model optimized for reasoning tasks.

The MiMo-7B-Base model was pre-trained on 25 trillion tokens and the RL-tuned MiMo-7B-RL achieved superior performance on mathematics, code, and general reasoning tasks, surpassing OpenAI o1-mini. He works on the core LLM team at Xiaomi alongside researchers including Bowen Shen, Cici, Dawei Zhu, Di Zhang, and others.
