LI Juanzi (李娟子)
Co-founder, Zhipu; Professor, Tsinghua CS (KEG)

LI Juanzi (李娟子, also known as LI Juanzi) is a Professor at Tsinghua University's Department of Computer Science and Technology and a co-founder of Zhipu AI. She founded the Knowledge Engineering Group (KEG) laboratory at Tsinghua in 2001, which became the foundational research group for Chinese knowledge graph technology.
Her students include Zhang Peng (now Zhipu CEO) and Tang Jie (now Zhipu co-founder and Tsinghua professor). Her research focuses on semantic web, semantic web services, news mining, and social network analysis.
She earned her B.S. and M.S. from Shanxi University and her Ph.D. from Tsinghua in 2000. She has served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Software and Theory at Tsinghua and Deputy Director of the Chinese Information Processing Technology Committee of the China Computer Federation.
