LU Shan (卢山)
President, Tencent TEG (Technology and Engineering Group)
LU Shan (卢山) is the Senior Executive Vice President and President of Tencent's Technology and Engineering Group (TEG), the organizational base for Tencent's foundational AI functions including AI Lab and AI infrastructure. He joined Tencent in 2000 and has served in various roles including General Manager of the IM Product Division, Vice President of the Platform R&D System, and Senior Vice President of the Operations Platform System.
Since May 2012, he has led TEG. He is a member of Tencent's executive council (总办), the company's highest decision-making body.
Prior to joining Tencent, he worked at Shenzhen Liming Network Systems Limited. TEG is responsible for AI R&D, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and foundational technology across Tencent's business groups.
