SUN Qingfeng (孙庆峰) is a Senior Researcher at Tencent Hunyuan, having joined in December 2024. He is a co-founder of the WizardLM project.
He earned his B.S. from Hefei University of Technology and his M.S. from Peking University. He was a Microsoft NLP Research Scientist, where he focused on large language model development and contributed to core deep models for Bing and Office 365.
He co-created Evol-Instruct, RLEIF, and Arena-Learning methods. He was the first WizardLM team member to join Tencent Hunyuan (Dec 2024), with others following in spring 2025.
